I'm in need of a dosing pump. I dose alk and ca daily. I'd like to automate it. I don't have a controller so it needs to be a stand alone unit. This is unfamiliar territory for me. Any recommendations or tips on what to get?

They all do the same thing. Some you can control via WiFi others u have to control via unit. Some are expensive due to brand and built quality, I have a kamoer but I’ve never used it I just manual dose every morning.

It’s all a budget thing with dosers having that I’ve had bad experiences with Jabeo I would say that would be the only one I would stay away from but That’s just a personal opinion I have a few buddies using them for several years but they both have ocd and keep all their equipment on a tight maintenance schedule but overall they all do the same, I have the apex DOS while it’s Nice to see it on my phone and adjust my dosage on the go it’s def something I could live without once you find the sweet spot you will only increase bits per week bi weekly you won’t touch it a lot

I've been manually dosing as well. Missed a couple days and my alk dropped to 6dkh. Trying to avoid that.

Looking at Kamoer, Bubble Magus and GHL.

Any BRS 1.1ml users out there? I am thinking about using up the couple of spare outlets on my apex for a cheap, reliable, easily adjustable 2-part dosing scheme

Out of those, I've never heard a bad thing said about the GHL.

I run a PacificSun Kore 5th myself, and not sure I'd recommend that. Even though it's been around for quite some time (I believe I bought mine in 2015) it still feels like it's a Beta-testing product.

I've had a CoralBox on my tank for about 2 weeks. Price, performance and physical size are right. I've got an issue with the wi-fi connection, that I'm working through with the US distributor (ReefBuilders.com). The support and response that I've gotten from ReefBuilders is superb. I'm confident at this point that the wi-fi connection issue will get resolved.
