Don't ask what the params are... hubby does all that but look at these pics...it's taking over. What can we do? It's irritating/killing the corals nothing is opening up like usual and the tank in General looks like bleck....

I guess I should add that it's a 72 gal bow front...I don't know where all this algae came from it started in the filter, hubby did a 20gal water change/cleanup over the weekend and cleaned the filter too and now it's in the tank, it grows more each day. Water is good and clear, even though the pics don't seem like it but it is, residents are happy but the corals aren't at all. Haven't added anything new in awhile, we did lose an pink bubble tip anemone about 6 weeks ago when he wandered into the wave maker and committed suicide but otherwise we haven't had any problems. The tank is 6-8 months old, we survived the diatom outbreak several months back and now this... I have no clue what to put in to treat. Hubby might but he works a lot and hasn't taken time to mess with it. I even had to scrub some off the glass.

That is cyanobacteria. Manually remove what you can and large water changes. Also add airstone to tank as it decreases oxygen in tank
