Redish/Purple bubble stuff on my rock. Can anyone help identify this! Please see picture

Cool, I have like 3 emerald crabs so we should be good to go. Thanks alot.

While likely bubble algae. Check and make sure it isn’t cyano. Cyano will be stringy and come over super easily.

It def is not stringy.

I’ve read mixed reviews on the effectiveness of emerald crabs. I have one and have yet to see any benefit on my bubble algae. There may be some benefit, but I haven’t noticed. I scrape it off with a razor blade being careful not to puncture the bubble and release more spores.
