One thing I always do is use the LIKE button when I feel someone has given sound advice to help others to make a determination of what is the most popular answer. Also, to give respect to someone who has given a good answer/advice.

Any time, I am by no means a RS member but I do follow the hashtag and respond to threads when I feel I have a comfortable knowledge base to do so. If not I will atleast tag a member (RS or not) of whom I know can assist in the issue.

Some of the RS members who are new to the hobby can still be helpful in some aspects, just not all. I feel like they get overly excited to assist others and end up giving unsound advice in the process.

Oh and if you would like to be helpful as well and feel you can help other reefers, you should follow the Reef Squad hashtag and you will get notifications as well when someone posts the tag. You'd be surprised in a day how often it is used

For myself, I don't think I'm fit for the duty. I am too harsh with my answers and too often wrong with my understandings of the intricacies of reef keeping, not to mention I often forget what the original question was which technically makes me off topic.
I also like to ramble, and my mind functions in poetry better than prose. Most people can't follow my meandering posts.

Those who can seem to enjoy the irony, but it does get old, like me.
