Where did the two fans go that were on top of the back corners?
Where they blowing in or out? For cooling??

Is that a magnetic frag rack/rock on the overflow?

The tank is lookin' great, keep those pictures coming.

They are from amazon. They are made for cabinets with electronics but work great for cooling my tank. I don’t run a chiller.

Yea the rock is from The Alternative Reef. The magnet is in the overflow.

I'll be setting up my Red Sea Reefer 170 in a week and a half! Yours looks great!

Same light and tank only white for both!

Nice, you are going to love it. I have no complaints. If you are going to keep jumpers look into the artfully acrylic lid, it looks great on our tanks.

How much does it run?

How long did you manage to keep the Blueberry Gorgonian alive?

How long have you had that Spider Sponge in there?

The blue berry didn’t last long. I was constantly trying to keep algae from building up on it. The spider sponge is doing a lot better in my tank. It barely gets any algae. I would say it had a few months inside already. The blueberry started opening less after like 2 weeks. I wish the blueberry where easier to keep, they are beautiful.

I agree both of those are breath taking. Granted neither of them do very well in the normal tank. There was a guy who had a tank around 100 gallons with a 500 gallon refugium that could keep all those Non photosynthetic alive and thriving like they were GSP or something. It would be very hard to do in a Reefer 170. I have a Reefer 170 as my office tank but it is all SPS. Nice little tanks.

Yea a large refugium would make things a lot easier. I started getting algae a lot faster when I was feeding the blueberry sea fan. With a small tank I don’t think it’s worth it. The Red Sea ranks are great, hope to upgrade to a larger tank one day. For a small apt the reefer 170 is perfect.
