Reefer 170 return pump

I'm looking for a new return pump for my rsr 170. I tried a Jecod dcp-2500 but the output fluctuated to much.
Any good pumps? I don't have red dragon money...

The Skimz QP 2.0 and Aqua Medic DC Runner 2.1 are looking like an option. Anyone familiar with these?

jecod and jaebo are both good pumps. i don't have any personal experience with skimz, but i've heard good things about them. I have a jaebo for sale now, used of course. but i can attest to them being decent pumps. you may have gotten a bad controller as they are cheaper pumps, obviously.

So, I’ve tried the skimz, without head pressure the noise was ok but once connected to the return hose it sounded like an airplane. Today I picked up a TMC Reef pump 2000. That’s very silent!

Agree with Vectra s2. Used it for my 170 and was very happy. Completely configurable and worked well with mp10.
