Digital Aquatics Reefkeeper Lite L1

Anyone use these controllers or any controllers at that. Im completley new to the idea of using a controller. I do everything myself.

What are the pros and cons of these things, and what do i need to do or not do when using this??
Thanks in advance!!

Love my RKL. I have what they used to call the L3 but its the same control unit just with more modules.
Out of the box for $99 its a steal and has lots of possibilites with its iTemp probe and 4 controllable outlets.

The only drawback I see is you have many thing depending on one electronic device so if it failed you would lose a lot of functions. On the other hand its very robust and pretty reliable.

On the plus side I eliminated a ton of outlet strips and timers, a Milwaukee pH controller and a Ranco temperature controller and gained a wavemaker function plus alarming and shut down capabilities I did not have before.
