I have this supposed to be ORA pearlberry in a bad shape and coming back. Frag is browned and covered with hair algae. Tried manually remove it every few days but keep coming back. Kind of hesitate to dip in hydrogen peroxide. Any recommendations?

hey is there live flesh its attached to, or is that white base skeleton where each strand attaches/rare to see it all the way up

there's a safe mix you can dry/dilution for peroxide its 1 mil to ten gallons of water as a soak for a few mins but see how much tweezering removes it/dislodges without having to dip.

that strength peroxide is known safe for sps, but that ones compromised due to the anchoring/boring of the plants so it'll be less resilient

What do you water params look like, mainly PO4 and Nitrate?
If those are out of line (my first guess), fix them and continue manually removing the algae in the meantime!

PO4 0.06, nitrate was 0 cause my refugium and ATS are bring it down. It got too low even I fed a lot. Had to dose nitrate to prevent everything from dying.
