So far I've kept softies in my tank and was just wandering what are the requirements to make it into a mixed reef. I have a 20L with a 24" t5 6 bulb fixture over it running carbon, gfo, and purgien. Have a k3 and a ac70 on it and so far have ran it skimmerless and do a weekly 20% wc. All softies have done great so far but really like the colors and Patterson of lps.

You definitely could do most lps. What light fixture is it that you are using?

Not 100% sure on brand of fixture I picked it up from a local reefer who used it over his sps frag tank. Not 100% sure on age of bulbs either think have app 3-4 months left before time to change them out. Been kind of slowly adding stuff to it and wanting to find out exactly what I'll be capable of keeping in it.

I grew a Duncan polyp with a single pc fixture so I bet you could grow any lps with a six lamp t5 fixture. You will need to watch calcium level a little closer.
Some softys are quite aggressive. So active carbon might help depending on the softy. That is my experience anyway. Ever tank is different so this info might help.
