Returning to Reefing

Hello all,

I am just getting back into having some Reef Tanks and I am trying to get my tanks up and running. I am wondering what some of yall have done to start new tanks and how yall felt good enough to put live fish or cleaning crews into the tank.

Welcome back to the salty side. You'll get a lot of opinions about the best way to cycle a tank. I prefer to use at least some established live rock if you can get it and do a fishless cycle. Just personal preference.

Welcome!! Live rock is the key. Then test until your cycle is done.

There are lots of great resources in the sticky threads at the top of the subforum, you might want to look through those.
