I am thinking of purchasing a RO/Di system for our home since there isn't a LFS close to us. I know there are alot of experts here on this kinda stuff so I thought I would start here. I have read several things on DIY but I am kind of wary about those. I found a coral life 24 gal/day 3 stage. anyone have any input on this? Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!

thinking about buying one myself, looking at one on bulk reef supply, and one at the locals Lowe's store. would like input also

i looked at a ro three stage system at lowes. it has a storeage tank and faucet with it and the 3 filters for 159. I may go this way but I would have to plumb it in somewhere because I wouldn't want it under our sink.

All the RO/DI systems are not created equal. Some come with a RO membranes and higher GPD rates. Check out this system by Bulk Reef Supply:
5 Stage Reverse Osmosis Deionization System Bulk Reef Supply
You get much more with this system than the one you can get at Lowe's.

I believe that we have a group buy going till the end of today at BRS. Contact [email protected] to get you added to the list of participants.

I bought this one years ago (was a lot cheaper) and I have been very happy. Filter Direct Online Store (C)
However, I ended up adding a bigger DI cartledge for a much longer interval between resin exchanges and changed out 100 GPD to 75 GPD (a new membrane and a new fitting) for a better capture ratio.
