Yes, unit don't have flush valve, but, all that this valve in fact do is bypass flow restrictor, so, removing one and run water (without di cartridge) do the same....

Like i said, for now, there's no reason to worry, all is ok ;)

Removing the restrictor is basically doing the same thing, yes.

A simple 3 way valve would make it easier for you. I know your in Croatia, so not sure how easy it would be to source, but something like this is what you need.

Thank you.

Its very easy to get one, even localy,ok, not finished product, but t piece, valves.... or order from anywhere, its really not expensive, yes postage is high, but at least once in year there is something that u must order, so really not a problem financialy.

But, it takes 1 minutes max to disconnect flow restrictor, so its really not important, its convinient, but not necessary ;)

To be honest, replacement cartridges are cheaper here than in eu shops ;)

It is all dependent on the water source. The picture I showed you was my prefilter. Even in that condition I was getting 3 tds before DI

Hey how's things in Croatia? My ex manager is originally from there, was my manager before I retired we were close. Wanted to give him news from is old home

We are great!

Prices are on rampage, people leaving all the time, salaries are low, in Canada, i think minimum wage is 15CAD per hour, here is around 4CAD, or around 750CAD for month.... Prices are insane, for this wages, from what i can see, prices of common groceries are the same or higher than in Canada, fuel cost more, oil, sugar, milk is almost double the price for 1 liter...... something is cheaper, meat, chicken, but quality is very questionable. There is practically no production here, only import, small farmers are almost extinct due to large stores. We have, in small city with only 50.000 residents 2 large malls, and several smaller, corruption, no jobs....

My town is loosing above 10.000 residents per year, and saddest part, we are not the worst case, some larger cities loose above 15.000 just in last year....

On the bright side, we have politicians who are wealthier than USA president, and very close to worlds famous millionaires, so i guess, we are great!

And like i said, everything is peachy...

Regarding the hobby, well.... :anxious-face-with-sweat:

Sorry to hear that. Isn't global economy great. Even though minimum wage is 16 no one wants to work. Home ownership is quickly disappearing. $ 700 for a decent place. That's here about hour and a half west of Toronto. Food went nuts here as well any excuse right? Fuel $1.76 liter. Live in farming area very few garden farms all ginseng feed corn soy. They actually paid farmers to cut down apple orchards..... Glad I am retired fish keeping me sane sort of lol

Well, probably everywhere is similar, everyone have problems...

Here people want to work, even for that minimum, but, to get a job in most cases, specially any decent and good payed job, you don't have to be educated, smart, capable, even lucky, you need connection or bribe ;) Or both.

Taxes are enormous, 1/4 of monthly income is taken in the name of some "retirement" fond, and very rare few will ever get that money back, some average pension for retired people are around 300-400usd, with majority having even less than that....

Sadly, i live long enough to remember and know times when my country, specially this part of country where i am, was literally feeding half a Europe, with grain, wheat, all sorts of vegetables, fruits, meat. we had strong wood industry, farming, metallurgy, we even have, in such small area, factory that produced everything from trains, locomotives, modern tanks and other weapons.... Now, we produce hardly anything, it's all import, and this little that is still produced we sell for a few cents, just to pay expensively for finished product, that we simply can't produce by ourselves...

In our country this is called "privatization", where factories, lands, hotels, anything that was any worth, were selling for literally few cents, dollars, then after going into private hands, it was sold again, for millions.... just to be shut down, people fired, most of this is devastated, or simply destroyed to make parking, malls, and other "private ownership" structures...

Excuse me for this off topic....
