Ok, anything else I should no about starting a new cycle, I've had a tank going for a while now and have some fish in quarantine waiting for the new tank to be setup just don't want to miss anything this time around. Do you think I should treat my fish for bacteria or ich while there in quarantine I'm pretty sure I had an outbreak because I lost a few fish which is part of the reason for upgrading and also got a bigger tank

Also how many 10lbs bags of live sand should I use for a 72 gallon bow front aquarium I was thinking 7 should be enough?

So I've been soaking my freshly bleached rock in fresh water and prime changing the water everyday and I'm pretty sure the bleach smell is gone to me. All I really smell now is a clean smell, are my rocks ready to be used again or should I soak them longer or take them out and dry them before using them
