While aquascaping is very much opinion based I always try and to avoid being able to see where one rock stops and another starts. Using all similar textured rock is a good start and then use all those little rubble pieces to help make things flow. This will help avoid the aquascaping from appearing like a pile of rocks and instead one giant piece of reef.
Thanks for the input guys! I plan on slightly changing the curve of the structure and want to keep in mind my plans for the layout. I am happy with the crevices and swim throughs for the fish, I just want it to flow. I plan on SPS and LPS on the right side and the left island will be Zoa dominated.
