does anyone know any ronald mcdonalds??? haha

well there is a pic of a bunch of imposter clowns in my avatar... they are quite nice!

i was told they were 007goldeneyes... but according to the pic on zoaid... (who i got my id from when i emailed them) the 007's look a bit different.

what you all think?

well, you can have a zoo that doesn't look exactly like it looks on zoaid. they will look different from tank to tank, due to different conditions.

i can't really tell from the small size of your avatar. do you have a bigger pic? i'd love to see them bigger :haha: 007's are one that i am always on the trail of :D

and from now on, these will be known as "yellows"... since mrcoral already has a zoa named ronald mcdonald.... :(

From the flashed out pic they almost look like Yellow Submarines they have the yellow in the center like that and brown skirts with yellow highlights......Wish I had them back they were sweet too......I like the ones you got it was a good pick up....

getting yellow to show, when shooting a photo with a P&S camera is hard.

i did my best.
here it is non flashed

they just dont seem quite as gold as 007s. mine seem more yellow... but perhaps its lighting. mine look like kelly's photo when they are under LED actinics only.

someone else said they mite b Midas zoas but IMO these aren't Midas'. Also a friend of mine wanted to know if these are more uncommon than the average zoanthid. ime yellow and purples are pretty hard to come by. Perhaps I'm wrong. Any ideas?

Yeah I saw the subs on zoaid. Perhaps they r but thesubs appear more of a green color

In real life they were a Highlighter yellow color, the skirts were brown with yellow highlights....

Thanks for clearing that up! Yellow and orange seem to b the hardest colors to capture on camera. Unlike the subs tho, mine are more of a dandolion (spelling) yellow. Maybe its "007 subs".

if you frag, can i get one?

When I get home from college in march I would happily frag some! One of my friends who are also in the hobby already has a frag and likes it alot! Just pm me if u want some.

last FTS till march. i didnt like the way it came out (got warped a bit... and i didnt clean the glass) but its my most recent shot, right before i left to go back to college for spring semester.

i would like these yellows to cover the whole left rock structure!

oh and here is my friend's frag of true yellows (he sent me the pic.. it was not altered in any way all for all you photoshop believers :) )

although they are blurry, you can see absolutely yellow. and for the 1.5 years i watched this colony in my LFS display, they have not morphed at all.

now if only i could get my hands on a tubs blue colony the size of this (my current colony is a measly 4 polyps)
