did anyone pick up one of these?

mine haven't done much in terms of coloring up and i wanted to see how everyone else's is doing..

I'm in the same boat..got it in low light and Med flow..Nothing but green and brown now. But it has gotten a little bigger. .

I'm somewhat disappointed considering the price tag...but still hopeful

I guess people see that i purchase a few from Ktar and I got quit a few PM about how mine turn out...

I got 10 from Ktar and there was an issue and he Gladly corrected it and issue me a refund after i sent them back.. Please do not Pm me asking me anymore info. I am not out there to talk bad about another Vendor.. Issue was solved and refunded on these.

Thanks

Rather disappointed indeed...was hoping seller might chime in and yell us what Were doing wrong

I have also bought the Royal Comet Paly. I have the polyps mid level receiving med-high flow but directly under the MH's and not off to the side receiving indirect light. I am bummed to hear that you all have had no results achieving the colors like the sellers original thread pic. I have not had luck coloring mine up either. I was going to move the four polyps off to the side to see if it indeed was the placement that would bring out the outer purple and speckles like that of the sellers pic. But, now that I see this thread....guess that wont help. Hmmmm....

Mine look amazing! I started with 2 and have aroud 15. I have noticed they do not keep there color in direct light. They look amazing in low light or indirect light

I will take sum for you guys. I forgot they where in the corner of the tank and looked there one day and couldnt believe how nice they looked. I then moved them to high light and the lost there color. Not sure why I did that but I did> So now there are back in low light and looking amazing. Try to give yours less light. There are so many times when I buy a coral and it looks nothing like said to be when it gets to my tank. After a month of trying different spots I always find the sweet spot. Just give it sometime they will color up

Frank"pizzapro" actually has the colony of Royal Comet right now and there will be photos soon.

well i moved mine in indirect lighting for about a week and they definitely look a lot better than before but not really impressed yet....

I dont think I want to pay that price for something, that easy to FORGET ABOUT IN THE CORNER......

If I pay that much for a polyp, it is getting a special treatment and at least 5 minutes of stare time each day. LOL

Pics??????
