Hi all - I've got a little blue tang in my QT and of course he's got some issues because he's a blue tang.
The fish had clear flukes about two weeks ago. After a fresh water dip I did a round of prazi.
I was also already treating copper power because the blue tang had some ich spots. I know it's not ideal to double up, but I added more O2 and just bit the bullet.
They've been at 2.0 copper power for 18 days.
Last weekend I noticed some chunky spots on the blue tang. Bigger than ich. I figured more flukes hatched so another round of FW dips and another round of prazi.
Now I'm seeing more bigger spots - more the size of those little Spirorbidae type things that grow on walls. All on one side - which is maybe the side he leans on when he hides. Maybe sand?
Should I: do another round of FW dips and prazi?
Seems like ich would be dead after all this copper?
Is there another med I should try?
He eats like a cow but is definitely still a bit pinched. I wonder if it could be internal?
Anything spring to mind?
PIctures are really hard to get of this guy.
