can anyone tell me the range of these two things should be measured in an reef aquarium ?
also is there a formula available to convert specific gravity to conductivity

Salinity by conductivity, refractive index, or density (hydrometer) are easy and important to measure.

Dissolved oxygen is not very useful for most folks. It is very rare for reefers to measure it.

I do not know of a simple formula to convert specific gravity to conductivity, but I have tables in some articles that show the relationships for seawater. What exactly are you trying to do?
