Hi everyone,
I'm new to saltwater and i have a concern about storing salt.
Is there any special requirement to storing your salt?

Depends on humidity where it's being stored. safest bet would be to bag it, then seal in a bucket. if salt does get damp it will clump, which isn't always the end of the world. you can usually break up the clumps and use it.

I sometimes experiencing clumps in my salt and threw it away, now i know.
Thank you

Home Depot or Lowe's will have a 5 gallon lid with a rubber gasket for a few dollars and bucket aswell. Its Very similar to the bucket that reef crystals comes in

I just saw a video saying to seal your salt. I got the HW marinemix, I was planning on using a 5 gal homedepot bucket too. About to open the thing up.

Just buy it in the bucket already. I buy RedSea blue bucket salt which is in a bag, inside the bucket. Always dry.
