I am in the process of setting up my first saltwater reef tank and I am interested in suggestions for the best software to use to track tank parameters. If anyone has a excel spreadsheet that tracks and plots on charts all of the basic items such as PH, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, etc. that they can share that would be awesome. Thanks for any recommendations for how you track the tank basics.

I punch it in to my phone, under notes. My phone is always next to me and has a timer for my tests :)

AquaPlanner or ReefTank Pro are two iPad apps. I'm still undecided, and have been using them both. Just recently found the ReefTank one.

The aquaplanner developer was very responsive when I just happened to send him an email yesterday on suggested enhancements. It has the beginnings of a calculator section that has potential. I also suggested the ability to show multiple prams on a single graph and he said that would be the next step. He said he was concerned about the liability for offering calculator for different brands of additives.

Maybe if we all get behind him and keep communicating will see some good enhancements to the aquaPlanner app.
