Last year I had dinos really bad, I got rid of them by taking my tank down, washing all the sand, and then replacing all my dry rock with gulf live rock. That worked for the past 8 months, but the last 2 weeks or so I have a light dusting of brown on my sand. Its not really bad, it dosen't have bubbles in it, and its not everywhere, just a spot up front on my sand. At night when the lights are out, it all goes away, the sand is perfect white. Next day when the lights come on, it gets worse during the day, and by the end of the day, the sand is brown again. Ive been dosing Prodibio Bioclean to help keep my nutrients up, but Im still pretty low. Phos is 0, and Nitrate is 2. Is there anything else better then Prodibio Bioclean at getting and keeping nutrients up?

Dose the nutrients directly....I used to dose Sodium nitrate and Seachem Flourish Phosphorous directly to increase nutrients. Also, if you are running nutrient depleting things, ie: chaeto, skimmer, GFO, etc... consider reducing these or stopping them for awhile.

Then, obtain a microscope pic of the stuff in question so it can be definitely identified.
