Hey just started using this copper treatment and I know that .5 ppm is what it should be but I have been between.4-.45 . I was wondering what is the danger area for this treatment it doesn’t say on the bottle?

Are you using the seachem test kit? There is a reference test included that is very helpful in double checking that you are indeed at .5 which is therapeutic.

According to seachem, many fish can tolerate up to .8; but I agree anything over .6 is going to be iffy. Especially with more copper-sensitive species like wrasses, anthias, angels, etc.

I do have the test kit have been using it to test the copper is .4-.45 still going to kill the velvet I have or do I have to up the dose a little more to get it to .5
