So I went to my local fish store to purchase some ammonia to start my tank cycling.
He sold a product "Seed by Seachem".
The label says it contains both nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria. It is a 7 day dosing. I am in day 6.
I have been testing for ammonia and I am concerned that there doesn't seem to be any.
The fish store guy said it was not necessary to use ammonia to cycle the tank.

Has anyone used this product?
Do I still need to cycle the tank?

You are starving your bacteria, they are crying: food, food!
you need to add food source for them, either ammonia or piece of dead shrimp, otherwise they are just canibalizing one another.
Also, I am almost certain, that this particular product contains dormant bcteria, not instant ones.
Yes, you need to cycle the tank.

I should have mentioned that I have 120 lb of live sand and 20 additional of Arag-Alive.
And an assortment of white (dead) rock

Im currently using it with cycle and dr tims ammonia.livesand in tank.13 days in and nitrites are sky high but i cant say its a miracle cycle that works in time claimed.standard fish food/ammonia cycle next time.
Its certainly a product that needs feeding not an all in one
