Seeking better acclimation process for CUC

Anyone else concerned with water cooling during drip acclimation? Right now I float bag, then into small cooler and “drip” for a few hours. Water seems to cool quite a bit. Snails don’t seem to live long, could this be my problem?

Anyone else concerned with water cooling during drip acclimation? Right now I float bag, then into small cooler and “drip” for a few hours. Water seems to cool quite a bit. Snails don’t seem to live long, could this be my problem?

What I do is:
Float bag for 15 minutes
Drip acclimate
put the animals into a ziplock bag and float for another 15 minutes.
