I bought a titanium heater somewhere at the beginning of COVID. For maintenance I switched off active devices through the controller, yet not the heater. Somewhat in the middle I developed symptoms of tingling, shocking sensation. Paid no attention...I am old. That feeling increased as I came close to the heater. Repetitively because I am not that smart. Only stopped as I unplugged the heater that had come on mid maintenance. Which reminded my that my grounding probe is on loan to the other tank. Please everybody: be smarter. Ground your tanks and switch off active devices for maintenance. Stay safe.
PS: Anyone wants to buy a slightly used heater?
