Hi,
Just started see this green algae on my rocks. Should I be concerned?

Welcome to R2R! Assuming this is a relatively new tank. No worries. Just one of the many "new tank" phases your tank will be experiencing.

The tank is probably 2.5 months old. So eventually it will just go away or is it good algae?

Welcome to the "uglies"! This looks completely normal, and will continue to happen in many different stages over the next several months. Right now is a great time to monitor nutrient levels closely and maybe grab some clean up crew! I love snails for taking care of that green film stuff :)

Typical in a new aquarium. Are you running a fuge?

I had the same. It turns dark, and then coraline starts to grow on it. Lots of folk go through this. I think with live rock, not so much

No I'm not. Just a powerhead and skimmer.

I really think the issue you are experience will self-correct as the tank ages. Just the same, you may want to consider a refugium for nutrient export at some point. I have one... I think they are great!

Keep an eye on "dead spots" in the tank where algae may start accumulating. An easy fix is to add another powerhead to increase water movement. ;)
