My first post here, hopefully someone can help me out. I've got a pair of fire fish, added to the tank yesterday and all appeared fine. Today one looks like it has either couple of small lacirations on or is sick (not sure which).

It's now sitting in the corner of the tank, not doing a lot or swimming around.

Below are some photos:

Also in the tank are:

2x Clown Fish
1x Rainbow Wrasse
1x Pistol Shrimp
2x Cleaner Shrimps
2x Pepermint Shrimps
Snails and other CUC

I'm wondering if it's had an incounter with the pistrol shrimp, but if anyone else has any advice that would be great.

Looks like it's been attacked.
Not likely by any of your shrimps.
Firefish often don't get along with conspecifics, could be the other one attacked it.
Clownfish can be aggressive, could be one of those.
If your Rainbow Wrasse is Thalassoma quinquevittatum or lucasanum, they are known to be aggressive.
You don't mention the tank size, but these wrasses also require at least 70 gallons.

Ahh ok.. they were sold as paired and had been together since the arrIved (according to the LFS). Not sure on the Wrasse, I believe it’s a Iridis Wrasse if that helps.

It’s 125L, so 33 gallons.

Is it likely to heal and should I leave it in the tank or separate it?
