How can I speed up the development of new zoa's?

I have what they are calling Watermelon Zoa's and a bunch of people want frag's

I broke off and cut off a few and mounted them to their own bit's of liverock.

What is the fastest way to turn 3 or 4 heads into 10 or 15 heads?

What is their Rapid Grow style feeding solution? Anything to speed their growth rate up?

Well, i sometimes feed my Purple Deaths and Nuclear Greens -- and some other larger types of palys -- Mysis shrimp. That and good lighting seems to make them shoot out polyps pretty quickly.

For the others i feed zoomax and marine snow. Sometimes i will cut up some cyclopeeze. Be careful not to overfeed though.

Here's a pic i got just now of my Purple Deaths eating a piece of shrimp... Perfect timing i guess.

The one on the right got a right size piece - The one on the left bit off a little more than he can chew.

If you find a way to greatly increase growth you will be a rich person. People have different ways of taking care of there zoas. More light or less light, high nutrients, low nutrients, spot feeding or not. The simple truth is under ideal conditions, (perfect water parameters and light for that particular zoa) they will only grow so fast, and that's as fast as they will grow.

When feeding eagle eyes and other common zoas. I mix CORAL FRENZY, PHYTOPLANKTON, CLYCLOPEEZE in a CAN, MARINE SNOW, and im gonna buy some reef chilli as well and add that to the mix and just squirt the jucies on them. And I think it help[s the growth. Theyll usually close up when it hits them

Pleas explain the [cut up some Cyclopeeze] Howe do you cut it up
I feed it to my palys and micro- but just as it comes in the can.

once i have made a new frag i keep it on a frag rack high up in the tank. ive noticed that most of my zoos seem to grow very quickly when they are closer to the light. i direct feed mine with a small turkey type baster with cyclopeze and phyto. they seem to grow nicely.
