Single bed DI

So, several gallons in and based on the entire anion canister going yellow I changed out my anion bed this weekend. At the same time I changed my RO filters and installed new membranes because it was probably time. I could not get final product to read lower than 2 after the final DI, mixed bed canister. I wouldn't have thought the mixed bed would exhaust at the same rate as the anion (wasn't part of the point of these triple stage units to preserve the mixed bed longer?) Anyway, the only way I seemed able to achieve 0 as the final product was to also replace the DI at the same time. So...instead of saving $$ by going the triple stage route, costs have stayed the same vs dual mixed bed DI if not gone up? Story of my life. :(

On that note, the anion canister is 3/4 yellow already after making 100-110 gallons of product water.
