Getting ready to pull the trigger on some purchases and get my tank up and running but having trouble deciding which items to get.

I've got a 60 cube and a trigger sapphire 26 sump. I'm having difficulty finding a skimmer that will handle a heavy bioload and fit in the skimmer section.

In addition to that I'm also having trouble finding a return pump that will provide enough flow and fit in the return section. I was looking at the Maxspect duo but wasn't sure if it would be too much flow.

Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Consider looking at the BM Curve 5 Skimmer. It should fit and it's a great little skimmer. I actually used mine on my 120g temporarily and was surprised how well it did.

As to your return, just shoot for 10 +/- times turnover. In tank flow can be handled via power heads/gyres/etc. That's my $.02 anyway.
