Skimmer help please

I'm getting a aquamaxx cones q-2 in sump protein skimmer and i would like to know if it is a good skimmer as far as an octopus protein skimmer 110 that I am running now and not to happy with it on my 90gal reef so my wife gave me the right wards and told me I can get a new one Yahoo for me so all the help I can get on a aquamaxx cones q-2 in sump protein skimmer thank you

Your tanks look good from the pictures you provided. Maybe your system is just good at consuming nutrients? From experience I would be careful chasing the "better skimmer" concept. It is truly never ending. Plus it looks like you have a nice mixed reef anyways. IMHO Your tank will look and do best with a "less" efficient skimmer. Your system will appreciate the excess nutrients.

Wow no kidding thank you my octopus is on it'sway out so u had to get a new one and really didn't know what to get and my nutrients are going up wich is not good I've only been going for 2years now still learning all the help I can get I'm grateful for
