Skimmer running clean

Is it possible that my aquarium water is running so clean that the skimmer is no longer picking up anything?

Before. I had a problem with Brown Hair Algae. The skimmer was picking up a lot of dirty water. I’m assuming from the brown hair algae. Since then, I have cleaned off the brown hair algae, added vibrant and running GFO. I have noticed a huge difference in my water quality and the skimmer running clean since then. It’s been about 1 week already since it’s been running clean. I was basically emptying the skimmer every other day. Now it’s not even filling up anymore and it’s been a week. All the coral and fish seem not to be affected.

So adjust the skimmer to do a little more work? It does come with a controller and I can control the output

Lower the level of the bubbles so no clear water will not enter cup. I have mine adjusted so I don't see any bubbles coming up the cup tube. The water in the cup should only be very dark and scummy.
