skimmers issues yet again...

i have cleaned the skimmer all the way down to the mesh inside the motor and im still having issues with the dang thing... i have a video of what it is doing but idk how to post it on here. but it is running awful! it will be working great for a minute then the water level will drop to half way down the cone and hardly any bubbles will be in the cone. when this happens it makes a horrible noise like something is stuck.. what can i do about this? if you want me to send the video to your phone i will just pm me and i will give you my number. thanks

There is extra mesh on that pin wheel. Sounds like the pin wheel is catching somewhere inside the pump cap. You have to line it up correctly. Or cut the tiny zip ties and remove the mesh. But it will make less bubbles.

can you just trim the mesh around the edges or do you have to take entire mesh out?

I would just take the extra mesh off for now, and see if it solves your problem.
