I've had my snowflake eel for probably close to a year now. Since that time she's gone from about 9" to about 15" - 16," and from about .5" at the main to probably close to 1" or more depending on her mood. In other words, she looks and acts healthy.
I have been feeding her an average of three pieces of krill every three or four days. The last few several weeks she has seemed less interested in the krill. She hasn't eaten any krill for probably three weeks. Still, she's fat and healthy. If anything, she looks better.
I've had a fairly large number of blue legged hermit crabs, enough to have a sizable baby population, a long with some smaller mid sized ones. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out she's eating blue legged crabs... probably as they're dumb enough to walk in front of her den.
The problem is she's starting to make a dent into the crab population. I guess I could toss in 10 or so crabs a week to feed her, but I'm looking for alternatives.
Has anyone had success with ghost crabs?
What about the amphapods from Aquarium Depot? Once full grown, some of them critters are as large as a baby hermit crab. I'd just need to jump start a population of them...

She's in a 75 gallon with:
1 yellow tang, 1 file fish, 6 line, scooter blenny, one lone green chrome (1 out of 5 to make it), 2 Black Mis-Bar clowns recently mated for the first time.

It's been a while since I've been on here, and I apologize. I'm dealing with some serious health issues right now. Thankfully, I have my babies to cheer me up on the bad days.
That said, any ideas or help you can give will be appreciated, Raymond....

I had one a while back and fed it silversides. The eel will probably still eat the crabs though
