Something weird.. First for me

So I had a frag of green birds nest that I fragged oh maybe 4-6 months ago and then this weekend I fragged up that same coral... I put them all on the frag rack together and one of my snails pushed the oldest one into the new frag and well they killed eachother?? Is it possible that since they were fragged so far apart they no longer considered the same coral and will fight? I have had corals of the same touching on multiple occasions..no issues.

That is interesting. Was there perhaps something on the frag plug that coral was after. Did you see mesenterial filaments?

Frag plugs were clean and no other corals within stinging distance.. Nope no filaments either, just odd...
