I may have a future issue and wanted to get some opinions. I have dual maxpect Gyre Xf150's They are not synced and are both running at 70%. This is an older picture but the gyres are as high as I can get them without creating a whirlpool and sucking up air. The orange lines represent sticks that have been glued since the pic. The pump on the left is aimed slightly up to create surface agitation and the pump on the right is more straight. They intersect right the GSP location and the turbulance spreads. I have the locations and speed adjusted just so I get random movement in the SPS polyps.

The question I have is right now the Acros are small enough that the left side flow goes over the top but as they grop they will probably get blasted. Should I try and re position the left pump or since they seem happy now wait and see how they grow out? Here is a side shot. the pump is just barley visible at the top

following bcuz my acros are not happy....but regardless how are you dealing with flow/detritus removal for the bottom of the tank?...just curious

There is enough turbulence that I dont really have any accumulation anywhere. The gyres hit the opposite end of the wall and the flow circles back down on the bottom. The bottom has low flow but enough so that nothing settles. I also have two very large, hand sized serpent stars that live under the rocks on each end of the tank. They do a pretty good job keeping things clean.
