Admin..apologies but please delete dup post. Im not sure how it happened.

how old is the tank, what kind of rock did you use,
When I lost sps frags usually high light at first didnt acclimate correctly

Note: i never had luck with gfo hit or miss , my understanding can drop phosphates too fast,
Note i use miracle mud with cheato refug gentle on sps keeps phos in line
All your call good luck

What does your flow look like? Can you take a picture of the tank and of the coral and upload it? What type of lights do you have? Has anything changed within a month? (New RO water, Lights, Vibrant, skimmer, etc)

I lost a colony in the attached pic from base up over 3 weeks period and a few Frags from the rack pic attached.

My tank is redsea reefer625(as in liters) 4.5 years old with 2 mp40 on the sides running 8 bulbs t5 and led hybrid called ATI powermodule. I use real reef rock

I have been quite successful keeping corals but always every now and then have SPS bleach from base up.

To be honest nothing jumps out at me at all. Your tank looks very healthy and established. Have you ever done an ICP test? The Frags that are showing STN, do they have any PE around the base? Also check all magnetic things.. Years ago i had a Neptune probe holder break open letting rust out into my sump. When was last water change and how much?

If you’re broadcast feeding, you might need to additionally target feed those certain corals. Sometimes the current patterns in a tank can “starve” certain areas while pushing food to others.

A mature biome and solid parameters, so I guess a few things to explore:

a) ICP as mentioned
b) Pest check. Remove and do a 10 minute dip in potassium chloride. Inspect under light and magnification.
c) I had something similar with just a few varieties of acropora. In the end, I went with a long dip in amoxicillin which seemed to arrest the STN.

+1 on the check for pest. I would check with a flashlight for bugs on the acros an hour after lights out. I’ve had neighboring vermatid snails irritate some Tenuis also. Most grow right over them but others will Stn. If you have bugs/pods on your acros you’ll need to do an interceptor treatment.

I get bugs but why do you say Interseptor for Pods?

Another colony is STNing. You can see it fade from the middle and bottom up
