Strange blobs appearing

Hi all,

we’ve noticed these strange white/clearish blob appearing in the tank. Any idea what they are and if they’re good/bad?

Well if you were a 13 year old girl, I'd say congratulations.. but as this is a reef tank, I guess thats not exactly the right approach. lol

ok all joking aside, I'm not exactly sure what those are. Could be sponges, but its hard to tell from the pictures. How is the water flow in the ares where these are growing? I almost want to say its mold from uneaten food that has been stagnating.

Should edit the title so no one else is discouraged and disappointed

Looks like a sponge, no need to buy your rock a bra yet. The one on the back glass looks different than the rest but its hard to make it out that far away.

Lol. This often happens to me. Eventually they go away on their own.

The 2 on the rocks could be sponge but it’s throwing me off with one on the glass. .
Typically sponge doesn’t grow in lit areas
