This has been posted a million times but I’m only really finding info on reef tanks…I have two tanks this one has no corals can I just add copper in the whole tank ? I’m reading suggestions about how you still need a qt tank but I thought if you have no corals they’re are very easy medicines to get rid of ich correct? And what would you prefer ty !

My opinion, no, you shouldn't add copper to a tank that has live rock, for at least two reasons.
1. It poisons the rock with copper making cleanup near impossible and any addition of inverts a death sentence.
2. Maintaining proper copper leve!s, with the rock binding up copper , is extremely difficult.

That's why they recommend a separate QT with PVC pipe (and no rock).

Oh ok Ty I guess heavy feedings it is hello nitrates ! I always had a reef I always thought there was a magic medicine that instantly clears ich but kills corals lol so either way your screwed
