Thanks Tim. I'm out of town this week for work so hoping to upgrade this by 10 gallons this weekend.

the 20G high might give you trouble with getting things into/out of the sump under your stand. I built my stand 34" tall on the inside and getting into/out of [or getting things into/out of] the 20/25g tall was a pain. I went out and bought a standard 20g instead which gives me slightly less water, but more manageable space

I still have to build my stand so can make it a pull out drawer if needed. That was my original idea.

Another thing to consider, or should I say the first thing to consider is the skimmer.
So if you have deep sump and skimmer needs 7" water depth it will stick out of the top further because it will have to be lifted. The longer you can make the sump the bigger the fuge can be and the further the water will travel though it. Wide and depth help too, but not as much as length.
