Switching from Seachem

Is there anything I need to worry about if I am switching from Seachem Matrix to Marine Pure? Never switched media before and i am worried about losing beneficial bacteria.

Is this in a canister, reactor or media bag? Only advice I have is do 25% media change per week, or even better every two weeks to limit the amount of beneficial bacteria removed from the system at once.
