Switching Salt

Buy the original TM .. "classic".. is what I think they call it..a bit cheaper than pro reef,etc
 
I used reef crystals at one point and my corals looked horrible switched to Red Sea and they got better

Not sure what you did exactly, but Reef Crystals does not generally cause corals to look horrible. It may be the most commonly used salt mix in reef aquaria in the US.
 
I use primarily IO.
In the past, I have used others. Well, I really shouldn't say "past".
I won a bucket of RPM, so I'm using that now.
Is only 1% daily on weekdays so that will last close to a year.
Then I'll go back to IO.

I don’t mean the salt sucks I just have seen more success I the growth and color with different salts that’s probably because I don’t dose my tank though
