I have been running real ocean water from my lfs(tank is 3 months old) and picked up a whole lot of aquavitro salinity I am going to be using from now on. I am wondering if I should do a smaller water change, or possibly add a small amount each day of the aquavitro and remove some tank water?

My setup is a 14g biocube with floss/purigen/chemipure and no skimmer so I usually do a 3G weekly water change.

I would suggest to do 10-20% water changes biweekly and not worry about acclimation. Maybe up the testing if you have invertebrates or corals.

Thumbs up to that!!
Switch if you plan on using that brand as all brands will give you different parameters! Stable parameters are better than trying to achieve perfect water parameters :)

What I did with mine right or wrong, was started out one batch 75 old 25, then 50/50 and then 25 old 75 new until I ran out of old..

It's in a 14g nano so I've been taking out about 24oz a day and adding in the aquavitro in its place. I figure by the time I do my weakly water change of 3g it should be fine. I might actually skip this weeks water change and give it a little more time since it's like doing a mini daily water change.
