Synergy Reef Ghost Overflow Help

So I have a 180, with a cl44 sump. Did a leak check and I'm getting a ton of noise from the internal overflow and in the sump area. I've made a video to help explain. Try and raise the water level in you over flow box, so that the water is not splashing into the box creating the water fall noise.
I have a 16 inch Synergy Reef ghost over flow in my tank and its pretty quite,
You can raise your water level by adjusting your gate valve for the main over flow.

Can you close your gate valve more? Slow the flow down the the sump and raise the level in the box. Should quiet it down. And the skimmer section I would think needs to be a higher water level so the water isnt spraying into the chamber. Your gonna have a ton of salt spray from that.

Maybe even possibly lower the return pump flow. Just bc your having an sps tank you really dont need the flow from the returns fro that. Use powerheads to crate the flow needed. And dial down the sump flow for proper and adequate filtration. If the water is too fast flowing through the sump your filtration won't have enough contact time.

I am just getting ready to hard plumb my Synergy External Overflow box on my SCA Rimless 150 and i HAVE A question?? Do you have a Cepex Ball value on your secondary or do you just run1 gate value on your main drain?
