That's why I ask.I suppose they could work but there are a number of questions to ask;
1.) How high off the water will it be mounted? I ask because these fixtures are designed for indoor use and appear to have a lot of entry points where splash would get it turning them to junk pretty quickly.
2.) It states, "specular mirror reflectors" but there appears several options available in reflector finishes and types. I wonder if they up charge for different finishes/types?
3.) What ballast is driving them?
4.) They come with NO warranty. Are you aware of this fact?

Pros and cons to house burining down.A 6 bulb, 4 foot Sun Blaze fixture from Sunlight Supply lists for $221. Comes with a warranty, intertek certified, comes with (6500k) bulbs, known quality ballasts...
And, IMHO, is _much_ less likely to burn down your house.

So once again we are back to a fire hazard with a fish tank. Thank youThat is a high bay fixture made for industrial lighting.
You will most likely have to wire a cord.
It wont last at all in a saltwater environment.
You can look at horticulture fixtures and they are cheaper.
They are usually less quality and also not made for saltwater environment either but they would at least be better than a highbay fixture.
They usually do not have as good of reflectors either.
