Tang missing scales

i added a yellow tang yesterday to my tAnk and just now noticed that he is missing scales on the front on one side of his body. Any help would be great

Tangs don't have scales, if he's new, he probably just scraped himself on the rocks.

The fish was probably trying to put the puzzle together... It might have hit the rocks on it's side trying to hide/sleep etc... GL.

Thats what im hoping, also hoping that my cleaner shrimp isnt the one doing it

I was keeping an eye on him and i found him trying to get under one of the rocks where he cant fit so hopefully thats the culprit and we will learn
