I have cuc and a chocolate chip starfish in my 125 gallon tank. After I got the starfish and cuc I am currently waiting for the 76 days to be up so I can add fish.

I will have a quarantine tank and go strictly by what @Humblefish has written in another thread using copper safe and things of that nature for 4 to 6 weeks.

My question is, even if I go with the 76 days with no fish in the DT and I do the quarantine for 4 to 6 weeks with copper safe Etc if a Tang get super stressed after quarantine and is in the display tank can I still get ich?

If proper fallow period is followed, and Copper QT with copper kept at therapeutic level for 30 days and parasites are eradicated (along with minimum 14 day observational period to make sure it is gone for sure). No, Stress cannot cause an outbreak in a disease free tank. Ich is a living protozoan organism. So long as you get rid of it, stress can not cause it. Now if parasites are already living in your tank and fish become stressed, then there could be an outbreak.

I am pretty sure that @Humblefish will agree with me here. I would recommend switching to copper power. I would not use copper safe unless you have a Hanna checker due to previous known inconsistencies.
