Tangs have ick!

My hippo tang and unicorn tang have ick and I don't know what to do. They haven't had ick in my tank in over a year. I just got a few new fish and moved the rock around. Could that have something to do with it?

Our wonderful tangs are easily stressed. What are your parameters? I'm currently battling ick with my powder brown after a nitrate spike. I would advise you to quarantine immediately. If no quarantine tank try a natural approach if the ick is not too bad. Products such as Kordon ick attack has proven success for me.

Quarantine is one of your option if you want to completely rid your tank with ich. If not what prince Tony is suggesting is only a ich management, a hit or miss IMO. There are lots of good readings on our forum over http://reef2reef.com/forums/fish-disease-treatment-and-diagnosis.771/

I have corals too in my tank. Will the kordon ick attack be okay with it, and I do not have a quarantine tank

kordon ick attack won't hurt your coral. turn off ur skimmer when u do the treatment, and take out carbon media. I agree that kordon only help boost immunity to ur fish and hit and miss, but some time this the only option. I lost 3 fishes to ick but the other 6 survives. I have installed UV now to help manage ick

I don't have a skimmer but I take out the carbon filters? Like in my canister filter and in my overhang filter?
