I am trying to decide between two tanks with the following dimensions:

36" wide x 21" tall x 19.5" deep

36" wide x 18" tall x 24" deep

Which do you prefer and why?

Shorter is easier for me (short) to service.

the wider dimension gives more surface area to help with creating depth in the tank.

That's a tough one...I prefer taller for aquascaping but not too tall for maintaining it.

Whoops...misread the dimensions. Definitely the 24" deep tank for more aquascaping options.

Yes, I was thinking the 24" depth would be better. The 18" isn't too short?
