Tank foaming help

Came home to see foam on top of tank by filter
Could I have added some in with my nori clip I rinsed it off in my old tank water. Never seen it before. Everything in my tank seems ok atm. Just never seen this. Might scoop the foam out and see how tank does it should I run to petstore and get 5g and do a wc. Just did one a few days ago. Don’t wanna waste a trip to store if not needed it’s 1hr one way

My filter is making bubbles in the tank would this be part of it

Get the giant blob of goo off your hob filter, it’s prob inhibiting proper gas exchange.

That blob is polyfill got that dirty in three days I need to put lid back on it to keep light from shining in

It's most likely bacteria or algae. Manually remove it.
